Made out of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, the bracket also functions as a heat sink helping to keep fanless computers running smoothly--with roughly 1000x the thermal conductivity of plastic!

The Synta-style dovetail mounting bracket is extra stiff to prevent the base's thumbscrews from flexing it and loosening over time.
